PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: July 2026

OVERVIEW

NeonDrift ("we", "us") is a free arcade racing game. This policy explains what information we collect when you play, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using NeonDrift you agree to this policy.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

  • Account information — your email address and a display name when you create an account with email & password, or your email, name, and profile photo (if provided) when you sign in with Google.
  • In-game data — gameplay statistics, race times and scores, leaderboard rankings, tournament participation, career progress, and garage customizations linked to your account.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

  • To create and manage your account and sign you in.
  • To save your game progress, credits, cars, and upgrades.
  • To display leaderboards, rankings, and tournament standings (your display name and best results are visible to other players).
  • To operate multiplayer races and other game features.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

  • Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your email, name, and profile photo with us to create your account. Google's own privacy policy applies to their handling of your Google account.
  • Base44 — NeonDrift is built and hosted on the Base44 platform, which provides our backend infrastructure and processes data on our behalf (acting as a data processor).

DATA RETENTION

We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists so your progress is preserved. When you delete your account, your data is removed.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can access your data (profile, stats, and race history) from your in-game Profile page at any time. You can permanently delete your account — including your race history, records, tournament entries, and other stored data — from the Profile page's account settings. You can also contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

NeonDrift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
