THE CARS

Eleven car models, each with its own driving character — from the balanced free starter to career-reward and pantheon-trial hypercars. Every car can be upgraded and fully customized in the garage: paint, rims, spoilers, neon underglow and performance parts.

Cars are bought with credits earned by racing. Career-locked cars can only be won by finishing story mode seasons — money can't buy them.

ALL CAR GUIDES IN FULL

Strada S1

STARTER · FREE STARTER

The Strada S1 is the car every Neon Drift driver starts with, and it costs nothing. It sits in the middle of the roster on speed, grip and nitro, which makes it the honest measuring stick: if a corner beats you in the Strada, it is your line, not your car.

Its light hatchback body with rally flares rotates predictably and recovers from a slide without snapping, so it is the best car to learn drift-to-boost on. Upgrades in the garage lift it far enough to stay competitive on the early career events and on weekly time trials.

  • Learn the handbrake timing here before you buy anything faster.
  • Upgrade tyres first — grip pays back more than power on this chassis.
  • It is the safest pick in the rain, where high-power cars spin on exit.

Kaze Drift

DRIFT · 2,500 CR

The Kaze Drift is built to slide. It carries less rear grip than anything else at its price, which means the car rotates the instant you touch the handbrake and holds the angle while you feed the throttle back in.

Its real weapon is nitro regeneration: long drifts refill the bottle far faster than on any other car, so a clean corner chain turns straights into permanent boost. On drift-scored events it out-earns cars that are objectively faster.

  • Chain corners without straightening — the score multiplier resets when the slide stops.
  • Spend nitro on exits, not straights, to keep the rear rotating.
  • On grippy tracks, back off the handbrake or you will over-rotate.

Brute V8

MUSCLE · 4,000 CR

The Brute V8 trades finesse for raw shove. It has the strongest low-speed acceleration in the mid roster, so it launches off the line and off slow corners ahead of lighter cars.

The cost is steering weight and mass: it understeers into tight hairpins and it does not change direction quickly. On tracks with long straights and open corners it is brutally effective; on technical layouts it fights you.

  • Brake earlier than you think — the weight takes longer to slow.
  • Use its mass in traffic: contact rarely knocks you off line.
  • Avoid it on Mountain Pass and Snow Ridge until you upgrade handling.

Vento RS

GRIP · 6,000 CR

The Vento RS is the precision tool of the roster. It carries the highest grip of any buyable car and the sharpest steering response, which lets you take a tighter line and get on the throttle earlier than a drift-biased car can.

It rewards clean driving instead of showmanship, so it is the car most all-time leaderboard times are set with. Because it does not slide much, its nitro fills more slowly — you have to earn boost with deliberate, controlled drifts.

  • Drive it flat and tidy; big angles cost you time here.
  • Trail the brake into corners to rotate instead of using the handbrake.
  • Best car in the game for chasing a ghost run.

Specter X

HYPERCAR · 12,000 CR

The Specter X is the top of the buyable ladder. It has top-end speed close to the career hypercars with enough grip to survive technical sections, which makes it the most flexible car for multiplayer rooms where you do not choose the track.

At 12,000 credits it is a real grind, but it removes the trade-off of every cheaper car: you no longer pick between straight-line speed and cornering.

  • Its speed exposes bad braking — learn each track before you race it.
  • Great in public rooms where the host can pick any circuit.
  • Keep a little nitro for the last lap in close multiplayer finishes.

Apex Omega

HYPERCAR · CAREER REWARD

The Apex Omega cannot be bought with credits alone — it is the reward for finishing the first career season. It is the first car with maximum bars on speed, handling and nitro simultaneously.

In practice it feels like a Vento RS with a hypercar engine: the grip lets you keep the throttle down through corners that force other cars to slow, and the nitro bottle is deep enough to boost twice per lap.

  • Finish career season one to unlock it — money will not buy it.
  • Use it to reset your own all-time track records.
  • Its grip hides mistakes; check your times, not your feel.

Ronin GT

HYPERCAR · CAREER REWARD

The Ronin GT is the season two career reward and the most aggressive-handling car in the game. Its steering multiplier is the highest of any model, so it changes direction almost instantly.

That makes it devastating on tight, linked corners and on drift-scored events, where fast rotation builds angle quickly. It is also the least forgiving car: a late correction becomes a spin.

  • Feed steering in smoothly — it reacts faster than you expect.
  • Ideal on Mountain Pass, Bay Heights and Drift Docks.
  • Lift slightly before the apex to stop the rear coming around too far.

Eclipse Zero

HYPERCAR · CAREER REWARD

Eclipse Zero is the final career unlock and the outright fastest car in Neon Drift, with the highest acceleration, the lowest drag and the biggest nitro reserve in the roster.

It is a statement car rather than a balanced one: on long circuits nothing stays with it, but its speed leaves no margin for a missed brake point. Most top all-time times on the fast tracks are set in it.

  • Brake in a straight line — at this speed mid-corner braking spins you.
  • Save a full nitro bottle for the final straight.
  • Unlocked only by completing the full career story.

Aether Chariot

HYPERCAR · CAREER REWARD

The Aether Chariot is the endgame prize of the Trials of Olympus, won by defeating Zeus himself. It edges out even the Eclipse Zero with the highest acceleration, grip and nitro capacity in the roster.

It is a lightning-themed hypercar that stays planted at speeds where other cars slide wide, but it rewards clean lines: brake early, drift only where it pays, and keep the nitro for the long straights.

  • Brake in a straight line and let the extra grip carry you through the apex.
  • Its huge nitro reserve refills quickly from drifting, so chain slides between straights.
  • Unlocked only by completing the Trials of Olympus.

Valkyrie

HYPERCAR · CAREER REWARD

The Valkyrie is the prize of the Trials of Asgard, won by beating Odin one-on-one on the Gates of Valhalla. It matches the Aether Chariot for acceleration and tops it for grip, steering and nitro.

An ice-white hypercar crowned with golden Valkyrie battle wings and a Bifrost halo: it turns in harder than anything else in the garage, so it shines in hairpins and technical sections where bigger cars push wide.

  • Lean on the extra steering in hairpins — you can carry more speed to the apex than in any other car.
  • The biggest nitro tank in the game refills quickly, so drift through every switchback.
  • Unlocked only by completing the Trials of Asgard.

Tianlong

HYPERCAR · CAREER REWARD

The Tianlong is the prize of the Trials of the Middle Kingdom, won by beating the Jade Emperor one-on-one through the Hall of Supreme Harmony. It has the strongest acceleration, the highest top speed and the largest nitro tank in Neon Drift.

A jade-and-gold hypercar with golden dragon horns, a spined crest and a glowing pearl over the canopy. It trades a touch of the Valkyrie’s steering for raw pace, so it rules long straights and fast sweepers.

  • Brake a little earlier than in the Valkyrie: the extra speed arrives at corners fast.
  • The huge nitro tank rewards long drifts, so bank boost for the longest straight.
  • Unlocked only by completing the Trials of the Middle Kingdom.
